Whether you are a new or returning client, counselling can be a valuable support as you travel through life. As your counsellor, I will partner with you to help you use your strengths to navigate the changes in your life. These changes can include being in a new or struggling relationship, starting a family, balancing life and work demands, planning for and starting a new career, or transitioning to retirement, among others. Each life transition is packed with a mix of thoughts and emotions that can at times confuse us or even stall us on our journey. Together, we can navigate these changes so you can gain perspective, better understand who you are as a person, and begin to live a life that brings you meaning and balance.
Who Am I?
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), I call on over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field and extensive training in public health and counselling psychology. This includes a Master of Counselling Psychology (MCP) degree from Adler University, Vancouver and a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of California, Berkeley. I take a holistic approach to working with clients that recognizes that good mental health is not just the absence of mental illness or distress but is also rooted in the broader social determinants of health, including healthy relationships with others, a fulfilling home and community life, purposeful work and career options, and physical and mental health and wellbeing.
